Founder:
Shailendra Sunderpersad
I am a disabled person who suffers from degenerative spinal disease, Cancer of the bones, my bones have become weak, Major Depression Disorder, my nerves are damaged due to my spine, my balance in my brain is damaged, my speech is affected due to two major strokes. I spend almost 24 hours a day in my bed. I am wheelchair bound and I have been suffering for almost 20 years. I believe that even though I have so many medical problems, I can help people and make a difference in their lives. From the time we started the Support Group (April 2017), I have helped Professional people, business owners, and many others who have nothing. Everything that I do, I have been doing out of my own pocket (disability grant) and I don't take money from anyone. However, since 2018, Cancer Survivors have joined with our Support Group and now we try and raise funds for different things that they require like stomach bags, caterthers and so forth. We are also raising funds for the disabled persons who are in need of wheelchairs, walking aids and so forth.
